A summer of interactions with Albertans across the province has been both educational and inspiring. Alison and I have spoken with farmers, realtors, cattle ranchers, current and former oil and gas employees, government employees, lawyers, and the list goes on. Some of the stories we have heard are already shared here on our website, while others are being prepared for publishing.
We thank each of you who have been a part of Alberta Voices already and appreciate your help in growing the awareness of oil and gas issues in our province. Please continue to check our website as the summer unfolds and in particular, watch for a series of stories and short films that will be released this fall.
It remains our hope that encouraging open discussion of hydraulic fracturing while listening carefully to Albertans who have previously been brushed aside will foster a more responsible approach to oil and gas development in the province and lead to a healthier future for all.
